Both haven’t been driven in about a week.
Update: Ended up taking the Fiat, obviously. :P

I’d take the Merc, I’m used to an hour commute though. If it was a short distance the Fiat.

Both are excellent. You should take a weekend fun drive.

w210 or w208 are on my wish list. How do you like it?

I like it a lot except for the rust. Body needs work after every winter. :(
Car is definitely not sporty, especially since mine is the Elegance trim, with baloon tyres and softer suspension. Manual gearbox isn’t nearly as bad as many people claim, it’s just not very sporty, works great if you assume it’s tailored for comfort.
The engine is definitely tuned for comfort (200 Kompressor M111.944 in my case), it doesn’t really like being revved out, but goes alright from low revs so there isnt much need to do that. Engine has a lot of inertia to it for a smallish 4-banger, feels like it has an exceptionally beefy flywheel.
